This study is looking to see if a new food supplement can improve appetite in older adults.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking healthy adults aged 60 years or older – BMI from 20 to 25 - to take part in this study. If you don’t know your BMI, we can calculate that for you onthis link.
This study will ask participants to attend 3 morning visits to UCD with all main meals provided (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). You will be asked to consume a nutritional food supplement on each day and provide blood samples to trained professionals. You will also be asked to complete appetite questionnaires in our laboratory and in the comfort of your home. In the morning, you'll have a short stay in our laboratory (~2 hours), and the study continues in the afternoon /evening at your home by completing questionnaires before and after the meals we will provide you with. All participants will be compensated for their time.
