Dr. Caterina Villani Appointed Judge for RTPI Awards for Research Excellence

The Royal Town Planning Institute is an international professional body for town planners with over 27,000 members in 88 countries. RTPI is responsible for maintaining professional standards and accrediting world class planning courses both in the UK and internationally. It champions best practice, informs policy development and supports the professional growth of planners at all career stages around the globe.
In this role, Caterina will evaluate submissions that demonstrate academic rigour, innovative practice and critical engagement with contemporary planning challenges. She looks forward to recognising and promoting the exemplary research being produced by students across accredited planning schools worldwide.
The RTPI presents Research Excellence Awards to celebrate outstanding contributions to planning research—recognising work that advances knowledge, informs policy and shapes practice on a global scale.
