The Centre is led by the Director and Deputy Director within the Geary Institute and School of Education.
Dr Seaneen Sloan, School of Education & Geary Institute for Public Policy, Centre Director has been conducting research on young people’s wellbeing since 2004 and is currently leading a major Horizon Europe-funded programme of work to establish a new European Research Infrastructure led by UCD: Growing Up in Digital Europe

Dr Jessica Surdey, School of Education & Geary Institute for Public Policy, Centre Deputy Director is an expert on wellbeing in higher education, with 14 years’ experience of international and interdisciplinary work on policy, educational practice intervention research and research project management.
