The UCD Veterinary Hospital's Blood Donor Clinic featured on Ireland AM yesterday, as our colleague Dr. Benoît Cuq, Assistant Professor and Discipline Head in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the UCD Veterinary Hospital, joined Finn Ryan, Chair of Laois SPCA, for a special segment with presenters Deric Ó h'Artagáin and Síomha Ní Ruairc.

Finn was accompanied by her two dogs, Vernon and Mary-Margaret, who stole the show, especially Vernon, a remarkable five-time blood donor. His lifesaving contributions have supported countless dogs in need and brought comfort to their owners during critical moments.

Dr. Cuq spoke about the importance of our Blood Donor Clinic, which helps ensure that vital transfusions are available to pets undergoing surgery, treatment for illness, or emergency care.
