Avril McGinn Wins Best Short Communication Presentation at VetEd 2025

Congratulations to Dr Avril McGinn, Lecturerand Assistant Professorin Veterinary Clinical Sciencesand her colleagues who won Best Short Communication Presentationat VetEd 2025at  Bristol Veterinary School. Avril along with her co-presenter  Kathryn Loft (University of Bristol)presented ‘Teaching multiple consecutive  practicals: Investigating task load, challenges and strategies for success’.The presentation covered the preliminary findings of a two-part study investigating the effects of consecutive teaching on teachers' mental and physical workload. This work is a collaboration between University of Bristol (Kathryn Loft, Sarah Baillie), University of Surrey (Priya Sharp),and UCD. Avril and her colleagues look forward to sharing updates on this work in future.
