Hope Fest 2021
UCD, Dublin Lions Club and Dublin Simon Community are delighted that Hope Fest 2021 will take place for the fourth time, "virtually", in Dublin Simon Community services across Dublin, Wicklow and Louth on Saturday 18 September. Hope Fest 2021 will involve catering and treats provided and delivered to 17 Dublin Simon service centres with over 350 guests, as well as care items, a large 'Hope' poster (kindly commissioned by illustrator (opens in a new window)Paula McGloin) for guests to decorate throughout the day and live music streamed via YouTube, including music from the UCD Community Choir and the UCD Choral Scholars. (opens in a new window)Dip for Hope
As part of this year's Hope Fest we are organising a '(opens in a new window)Dip for Hope' in aid of Dublin Simon, on Saturday 18th September at 11am at the 40 Foot ((opens in a new window)location).
We are calling on UCD staff, students and friends to join us for a quick dip in the sea and help support those experiencing homelessness. You can donate in person on the day or via our (opens in a new window)iDonate page.
