How to Cancel your Medical appointment

If you need to change or cancel your medical appointment, there are several ways to contact us:

If you cancel your medical appointment, even at short notice, we can offer the appointment to another student who needs it. Where possible, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

If you are running late, please call us to let us know. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled medical appointment without prior notice, the clinician may not be able to see you.

In January 2026, 49 students did not attend or cancelled their doctor’s consultation appointment.

If you wish to cancel your Student Counselling appointment, please contact (opens in a new window)student.counselling@ucd.ie or phone 01 716 3159.
