Monday, 5 January 2026

Elective Module Registration opens for Stage 1 Undergraduates. 

(Students will be sent an email in December with their registration start time).

Stage 1 Undergraduates (new in 2025/26) can pick an(opens in a new window) Elective module (if necessary).

All Stage 1 UG students (including repeats) can amend their Spring modules chosen in September.

Thursday, 8 January 2026 Online module registration closes at 9 am for Stage 1 Undergraduate Elective allocation. All Stage 1 Undergraduates.
Friday, 9 January 2026

Online module registration reopens on a phased basis for Stage 1 Undergraduates.

(Check your UCD Connect email for a Start Time).

All Stage 1 Undergraduates.
Friday, 9 January 2026 Online module registration opens for specific students, includes January start students.
  • From 1 pm - Certificate and Diploma students.
  • From 1 pm - Occasional students Colleges of:
    • Business.
    • Engineering and Architecture.
    • Science.
    • Health and Agricultural Sciences. 
  • From 2 pm - Micro credentials, Advance Centre and Open Learning Students.
  • From 2 pm - Graduate Taught students in the Colleges of:
    • Business.
    • Social Sciences and Law.
  • From 3 pm - Graduate Taught students in all other Colleges.
Monday, 12 January 2026 Online module registration opens for Undergraduate students in Stage 2 onwards.
  • From 10 am - All UGs in Stages 4, 5 and 6.
  • From 11 am - Stage 3 UGs in Colleges of:
    • Arts and Humanities.
    • Business.
    • Social Sciences and Law.
  • From 12 pm - Stage 3 UGs in Colleges of:
    • Engineering and Architecture.
    • Health and Agricultural Sciences. 
    • Science.
  • From 1 pm - Stage 2 UGs in Colleges of:
    • Arts and Humanities.
    • Business.
    • Social Sciences and Law.
  • From 1 pm - Year 1 and 2 Liberal Arts & Sciences 
  • From 2 pm - Stage 2 UGs in Colleges of:
    • Engineering and Architecture.
    • Health and Agricultural Sciences. 
    • Science.

Module registration opens for Graduate Research Students. 

You will receive an email from UCD Graduate Studies telling you if you need to register to modules online via SISWeb or if you need to fill out a form to record your module choices.

All Graduate Research Students. 
Wednesday, 15 January 2026 Online module registration opens for specific Occasional students. Occasional students in Colleges of:
  • Arts and Humanities.
  • Social Sciences and Law.
Sunday, 25 January 2026 Online module registration closes at 5 pm for Smurfit Graduate Taught programmes  Smurfit Graduate Taught students. 
Friday, 30 January 2026  Online module registration closes at 5 pm for specific Occasional students.

Occasional students in:

  • Arts 
  • Social Sciences
Friday, 30 January 2026  Online Repeat/Resit/Withdrawn module registration opens from 12 pm. Students who need to register for Repeat/Resit/Withdrawn modules. 
Friday, 6 February 2026 Online module registration closes at 5 pm. All students (closes earlier for some groups).

  • 2024/2025 September - 31 August 2025
  • 2024/2025 January - 31 December 2025
  • 2024/2025 May - 18 May 2026
  • 2025/26 September - 31 August 2026

Access to most IT services you are entitled to, as a registered student, will end on the last day of the term.
