Can you purchase pipette tips by the bag? Many pipette tips can be bulk bought loose in bags for reloading into existing boxes, rather than having to buy the entire box.

Does your work require tips to be speciality tips such as RNase and DNase-free? Try to only use filter tips whennecessary. They are generally more expensive but if needed, considering purchasing filter tips in stacked trays/box inserts to refill existing pipette tip boxes with.
