Deans of Science

Science at UCD has a long and proud tradition dating back to the beginning of the University, well before the establishment of the School and College structure that we are familiar with today. The role of Dean of Science was established at the start of the 20th century, and has been held by a number of prominent scientists in their respective disciplines. In this section of our website you will find more information about this long history and the impact that the UCD Dean's of Science have played in shaping UCD Science into what it is today.
