Dr Véronique Larosa

Véronique Larosa is Executive Officer for Research at the University of Liège.She holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and has over 15 years of experience in scientific research, with a focus on microalgal genetics, bioenergetics, and organelle biology. She conducted her work at the University of Liège, CNRS (France), Ohio State University (USA), and the University of Padua, where she was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship.

Since 2019, she has been dedicated to research strategy and policy development at ULiège. As the executive officer for research within the RISE service of University of Liege, she manages the university’s implementation of theHRS4R – Human Resources Strategy for Researchers, coordinating initiatives related to ethics, responsible research practices, recruitment policy, and career development for researchers. She also represents the university in several European networks, including theHorizon Europe project CARDEA, which aims to promote career recognition for research managers at the European level.

With her combined scientific and institutional expertise, Véronique Larosa works to foster a sustainable, ethical, and people-centred research ecosystem.
