The root and branch role of knowledge brokers in supporting research impact

This presentation will discuss the specific role knowledge brokers play in the wider research ecosystem to support researchers and universities in their civic mission and to deliver 'real world' research impact. 

Sometimes a poorly understood or valued part of the research system, the presentation will explore the unique skills knowledge brokers bring and some of the sectoral and institutional challenges that still remain for this emerging field of practice.
