Prof. Candy Rowe

Candy Rowe is Dean for Research Culture & Strategy at Newcastle University, with responsibility for leading a team to enhance research culture across the institution. This involves engaging widely with colleagues and students, listening to communities through ongoing dialogue, co-creation of initiatives that speak to issues and opportunities identified, and measuring progress and culture change.  Over the last 10 years, she has held a series of leadership roles, with a particular focus on researcher development, research culture and inclusion.
