UCD is Ireland’s leading university in AI and computational sciences, at the spearhead of national capabilities to harness the power of this transformational technology. The university hosts the largest concentration of world-leading academics in the domains of AI and data science in Ireland, producing the greatest volume of research advancing these sectors. 

UCD is home to CeADAR, Ireland’s Centre for AI, which hosts a European Digital Innovation Hub that supports companies to enhance their competitiveness through technologies including AI. UCD School of Computer Science is home to ML-Labs, a Research Ireland-funded PhD training centre in machine learning, and is also the co-host of Insight, one of Europe's largest research centres for data analytics and AI.
