Open Access (OA) means that research outputs are made freely available on the web to all, with no (or limited) license restrictions.

Open Access publishing help to maximise the visibility of your work as the potential readership is far greater than that for publications where the text is restricted to subscribers only.

These funders will require all research articles which arise from funding to be:

  • made freely available at the time of publication

and to be

  • openly licenced.
