Annie O’Dowd received a PSI Early Career Research Award

Annie O’Dowd received a PSI Early Career Research Award for her clinical psychology doctoral research.
She conducted an RCT evaluating the effect of the A Lust for Life (ALFL) Schools Programme on children in 3&4th on state wellbeing assessed with the Feeling Better Scale (FBS).
Annie conducted her research with a team that included herself and Niamh McKenna and Sinead Grennan.
They did 3 related theses evaluating the impact of the ALFL Schools Programme on children in 3&4th and 5&6th class on state wellbeing assessed with the FBS.
Niamh’s research project validated the FBS. Annie and Sinead each did a randomised controlled trial evaluating the effect of the ALFL Schools programme on state wellbeing assessed with the FBS.
