Learning Facilities

Our students learn practical skills in our modern, purpose-built learning facilities.

Physiotherapy Clinical Education Facilities

The physiotherapy clinical education facilities are purpose built for practical skills education. In these rooms students learn practical hands-on clinical skills in each area of physiotherapy practice, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurology. In the three clinical skills rooms students learn in small groups. One room is equipped to learn cardiorespiratory clinical skills, another is a physiotherapy gym for learning exercise and rehabilitation skills while the third is equipped for learning manual therapies. Each room has 10 treatment plinths which enable students to work in pairs to learn and practice their clinical skills in advance of going on clinical placement. The clinical skills rooms are also equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment in order to enhance the student learning experience.
