Fintan Ryan, BSc Physiotherapy Student
“I chose the UCD Physiotherapy course because of my passion for sport and helping people. This course has nurtured these passions, allowing me to learn from expert lecturers with years of experience in different fields. The course is comprehensive and I have particularly enjoyed the practical aspect, where we get to apply what we have learned in lectures. The clinical placements have also given me great exposure to healthcare settings and have allowed me to use my skills in real life scenarios. Although I came into UCD thinking about a career in sport, this course has sparked an interest in other areas of physiotherapy and left my options wide open for my future career. I highly recommend the UCD Physiotherapy course to anyone thinking about a career in healthcare or sport”.
Huw Rees, BSc Physiotherapy Graduate
“I chose the BSc Physiotherapy degree mainly due to my interest in sports and sporting injuries. However, I quickly realised how much more the course had to offer. Throughout the four years, you will learn a range of skills applicable to becoming a practising physiotherapist, across a range of fields. The course is very student oriented, and staff are continuously encouraging feedback from students to improve the course. Students are provided with the opportunity to work with sports teams, events and with a range of patients with a large variety of disabilities and impairments. I would highly recommend this course to anyone".
