Our Mission
The mission of the School is to:
- Educate a broad cohort of students in our respective disciplines. This is undertaken by expert professional healthcare practitioners, who are competent and skilled in ethical practice based on best evidence and prudent judgement; experts in occupational and environmental health, nutrition and food safety; expert practitioners and managers in sport across the health and performance spectrum;
- Advance Scholarship and Research in health and wellbeing to improve health outcomes and quality of life by leading and enabling high quality, innovative basic, translational and clinical research;
- Influence policy and advocate discipline expertise through engagement with professional organisations, government departments and non-government organisations at national and international levels.
