Career Symposium for UCD Employees - March 12 & 13 2026

The People & Organisation Development team are delighted to be hosting a Career Symposium for UCD Employees on 12 and 13 March 2026 in the recently opened UCD O'Connor Centre for Learning. The Symposium will take place over two days, and you can choose from more than twenty sessions to support you in your career development in UCD.

We warmly invite you to attend our 'Power Hour' workshops - short sessions designed for maximum impact - covering a range of topics from Pre-Interview Nerves to Career Coaching Conversations for Managers. We are also holding Panel Discussions where our colleagues will share perspectives and insights, as well as Showcase sessions, where you can hear about learning and development initiatives that can support you to achieve your potential.

About People & Organisation Development

We recognise that lifelong learning is essential for career growth, adapting to new challenges and for dealing the with demands of an increasingly complex work and societal environment. We are dedicated to supporting individuals and groups to address some of these challenges through the provision of a comprehensive development portfolio.

We provide a broad range of training, development and elearning courses which reflect the UCD competency frameworks. These programmes are designed to support development goals identified through the Performance for Growth process. Leadership and people management skills are delivered through dedicated programmes involving in-person facilitated learning as well as coaching and mentoring wrap arounds. Our team also collaborates with managers to co-create solutions tailored to enhance team effectiveness.
