Who is this event for? Any member of an ethnic minority community

Health research can improve the patients’ lives. We want to include diverse voices in research discussions equally and accessibly.

  • What health issues are most important to you and your community?
  • What are the health care barriers in your community?
  • What challenges/barriers makes it hard for your community to join health research discussions?
  • Do you think someone with personal experience could raise awareness about health issues better than a scientist? Why might this be true?

What will I do at this event?

Help to identify challenges and barriers for ethnic minority communities

  • Work with us to create a survey about health research awareness for ethnic minority communities.
  • Let's discuss the challenges or barriers that may stop community members from joining public & patient involvement (PPI) activities.
  • Hear from community partners with personal experience of health conditions.

Registration: There is no charge to attend the event. Attendees do not receive a payment. Lunch is provided.
