newucd500
The newucd500 spectrometer was purchased with the help of (opens in a new window)SFI (SFI Research Infrastructure 2012 - Proposal ID: 12/RI/2341) and its access via is available to industrial customers from the whole Ireland.
Location : L0.17, School of Chemistry at the CSCB building.
Spectrometer: Agilent DD2 500 MHz; multi-nuclear with gradiants; variable temperature capabilities
Probes:
- 500MHz OneNMR probe:1H /15N-31P 5mm PFG Switchable Probe designed for observation and decoupling of both high frequency(1H) and low frequency(15N-31P) nuclei, with an actively shielded single-axis Z-gradient. Deuterium decoupling can also be carried out.
- 500MHz 1H {109Ag-31P} 5mm PFG Indirect Detection probe designed for inverse detection experiments. These experiments show correlations between heteronuclei and protons by detecting high sensitivity protons. The probe has optimal proton sensitivity (S/N 850:1) and capability for irradiation at frequencies within the range of 109Ag to 31P with actively shielded single-axis Z-gradient. Deuterium decoupling can also be carried out.
Variable Temperature Range: -80°C to +90°C (probe 1)
Note: The OneNMR probe (probe 1) on this system is the probe of choice among our instrumentation for 13C analysis of samples with very low concentration.
