UCD Centre for Emergency Medical Science (CEMS) donated its ambulance to Medical Help Ukraine

On Thursday 28th April 2022, the UCD Centre for Emergency Medical Science (CEMS) donated its ambulance, filled with clinical equipment, to (opens in a new window)Medical Help Ukraine.
The ambulance has been much valued by staff and students in the UCD School of Medicine for the last 5 years but, while we are sad to see it go, it will now serve a different and important operational function in Ukraine.
Our thanks to Alan Thompson (CEMS) and the UCD transport pool team for taking care of the ambulance over the years, and thanks to David Hall (Lifeline Ambulance) who worked with us to make this donation happen.
