- During the study, you will need to attend the Mater Hospital for regular study visits, where you will provide blood and urine samples, have a physical examination.
- Full and comprehensive risk reduction and adherence counselling will be given to participants.
- If you participate in a sub-study looking at bone health in patients taking anti-retroviral therapy for PrEP, you will have a DEXA scan to measure your bone mineral density.
- You will be given questionnaires to complete from time to time throughout the study.
- You will have regular HIV/STI screening during the study.
