Hon Skou Professor of Forensic Psychiatry Aarhus University Denmark; visiting Professor of Forensic Psychiatry University of Bari Aldo Moro. Reseach and teaching interests include designing and evaluating models of care, structured professional judgement including DUNDRUM Toolkit and related instruments, experimental psychopathology, ethics and values of medico-legal expertise. Books: Seminars in Forensic Psychiatry, CUP 2024; The Annotated Mental Health Acts, Blackhall 2007.
In addition to research on how to make forensic and general mental health services produce better measurable health gains for patients, Prof Kennedy has written on the limits of psychiatric expertise in the courts, on mental health law and ethics. Leads the Forensic Psychiatry Summer School in Puglia which provides mentoring to early career doctors in research skills and court report writing.
Harry also plays bass guitar in a very loud punk band, has no interest in rugby and spends as much time as possible in Italy.
