The School Office is located in Room 225, on the second floor of the UCD Engineering and Materials Science Centre on the Belfield campus and provides a wide range of administrative support for staff and students in the School.  The Schools’ Office is currently trialling hybrid working arrangements and is open for in-person queries from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm, Tuesday to Thursday. Outside of these hours, the Schools’ Office staff are working remotely and can be contacted as below:

Mr. Oran O'Rua - Operations Manager

Oran oversees the daily management, supervision and leadership of the Schools’ Office administration team.  Oran’s specific areas of responsibility are to provide executive and strategic support to the Head of School, and HR and financial management support across the School.

Dr. Rachel Wang - Deputy Operations Manager

Rachel supports Oran’s work in leading and managing the administrative and contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the Schools’ Office.  Rachel’s specific areas of responsibility are to provide programme, HR and financial management support across the School.

Dr. Louise Gaynor - School Administrator

Louise's specific areas of responsibility are to provide research financial management support to researchers in the School and administrative support for the admission, registration and progression of research students across the School.

Gosia Wojnicka - Senior Executive Assistant

Gosia acts as the first point of contact in the Schools’ Office, handling and filtering enquiries from staff and students to support the delivery of a flexible, responsive and effective service to all key stakeholders including the Heads of School, Operations Manager, Members of the School Executive Committee, School Heads of Subject, Heads of Teaching and Learning, Heads of Research, Innovation and Impact, Programme Directors and Module Coordinators. Gosia also provides administrative support for the key School operational areas (HR and Finance; Research, Innovation and Impact; Teaching and Learning).
