The UCD Sutherland School of Law and McCann FitzGerald are delighted to announce the McCann FitzGerald Law into Art Award which will be presented to the winner of the McCann FitzGerald Law into Art essay competition.
The aim of the competition is to include the UCD law student community in the process leading to the commissioning of a major art work for the Sutherland School of Law on the theme of the History of Law that will be presented by McCann FitzGerald to the Sutherland School of Law.
Competition Deadline: Friday March 4, 3pm
Prizes:
1st prize €750
2nd prize €500

To enter the competition a student must submit a list of what they see as the 10 key moments in legal history, at least five of which must directly relate to Irish law AND a 500 word essay (in English) on one of those moments explaining why it is significant and why it should be considered in the context of an art work relating to legal history.
