UPDATE on Authentication change for UCD users

What is happening:

On Wednesday November 19, UCD IT Services made a major authentication change to faciliate the rollout of MFA to Students. This change has introduced a splash screen where all users must select the cohort they best align with. Additionallly, all Current Students must now login using their email address.

If you have recently completed your studies and are awating award, you should also use the Current Student tab. If you receive a password error our recommendation is to change your password. If you continue seeing an error message, please contact our IT Helpdesk (www.ucd.ie/ithelp). Please include the error message you have encountered, which IT service it appears in, and whether the issue is affecting only this specific service or all UCD services.
