Transferring grades to Banner

Overview

UCD Registry provides a system for the transfer of component grades from Brightspace to the Banner Grade Entry System.

While Module grades are provided to students via the Banner system, component and sub-component grades are provided to the students from within their modules. 

At the end of the module, those component and sub-component grades are transferred to the Banner Grade Entry system and the overall grade is released from there. Any weighting of grades is applied in Banner and should not be applied within the module. 

For the transfer to be successful, a grade scheme must have been set in the module or grade.
