Overview
Instructors can provide feedback in various sections of Brightspace. Whether creating or grading formative or summative activities, feedback is very helpful. Assignments, Quizzes, PeerScholar and Bongo (Video Assignments) all have various feedback options on assessed activities.
Key Features
- Inline Feedback in Assignments: The Assignment tool provides for inline feedback on submitted files, written feedback on the assignment and also the ability to provide video or audio feedback.
- Rubrics allow you to provide efficient, timely, and meaningful grades and feedback to learners. They can be tied to assignments, quizzes, and discussions, and give you the opportunity to provide a framework to learners on activity expectations.
- Quiz Feedback: The Quiz tool has the option to provide set feedback on the answers to individual quiz questions as well as overall feedback on a quiz attempt.
- Video Assignment Feedback: The Video Assignment tool (Bongo) features the ability to provide time-stamped feedback on submitted videos.
- Peer Review Feedback: The peer-review tool, PeerScholar, provides the option to give students feedback on the peer-review at each stage of the activity.
