Digital Application Governance Policy
Why digital application governance matters
Effective governance of UCD’s digital applications helps ensure that technology investments and transformation initiatives support the University’s strategic priorities. It enables more efficient operations and a better experience for staff and students, while also protecting UCD from risks and cyber threats and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Purpose of the policy
The Digital Application Governance Policy sets out clear and practical governance arrangements for how digital applications are delivered and deployed within UCD. It provides guidance and guardrails to support consistent decision-making, sustainable application management and alignment with the University’s strategic goals and compliance obligations.
