About AgTechUCD
AgTechUCD promotes and accelerates early-stage start-ups and SMEs with disruptive innovations in Ireland and Europe in the AgTech, Agrifood, Veterinary and Equine sectors, as they build their innovative businesses into leading enterprises.
AgTechUCD delivers a suite of programmes and tailored support for start-ups, including:
- Innovation Days - generating solutions for the agricultural industry.
- Incubator - helping new start-ups to build out their business models.
- Accelerator - helping start-ups get customer and investor-ready, and scale globally.
Based at the UCD Lyons Farm in Co. Kildare, AgTechUCD offers the only on farm workspace hub to promote and accelerate agri-businesses and start-ups. AgTechUCD provides access to on-farm experimental facilities, allowing testing and trialling of products and services in a real-world environment.
Start-ups also have preferred access to UCD food processing facilities, access to venture capital and business angels networks, mentoring, corporate partners, office and lab spaces, and much more.

AgTechUCD is developing a pre-agccelerator for inspiring entrepreneurs with disruptive ideas that will benefit the agrifood sector. The 4-week pre-agccelerator will help you flesh out and validate your idea, show you how to conduct customer discovery interviews and help you develop a business model.
AgTechUCD Agccelerator Programme
AgTechUCD has delivered four 12-week Agccelerator Programmes to date to help to accelerate start-ups and help them grow and scale on the national and international stage.
