Our Knowledge Transfer team supports UCD’s vibrant research community to identify valuable research results and implement protection strategies, to explore commercialisation opportunities through licensing and spin-out formation and to develop productive collaborations with industry.
We can be supporting 100+ high-tech and innovation-led start-ups and more established companies at any one time through our facilities and the accelerator programmes we deliver. Many of our client companies are currently raising early-stage seed capital as well as Series A funding.
We offer facilitated access to collaborate and benefit from UCD’s research expertise, high-quality offices and services at our NexusUCD facility for companies wishing to locate in close proximity to UCD’s research base, access to technology licensing opportunities and facilitated access to UCD students through internship opportunities.
Through ConsultUCD we connect business, industry, government and non-profit organisations with UCD academics of all disciplines.
