Facilities to Support Start-ups and Established Companies

UCD has developed a proven and exceptional track record in supporting entrepreneurs, early-stage ventures, start-ups and more established companies, from the early feasibility stage, through to business development, investment, growth and scaling on the national and global stage.

The University provides this support through a number of facilities, including;

NovaUCD, the Centre for New Ventures and Entrepreneurs

At NovaUCD, the Centre for New Ventures and Entrepreneurs, we nurture and support high-tech and knowledge-intensive early-stage ventures and start-ups, including spin-ins to the university and spin-outs from the university, through our purpose-built and state-of-the-art facilities and through our comprehensive business support programmes.

NexusUCD, the Industry Partnership Centre

At NexusUCD, the Industry Partnership Centre, we provide high-quality modern office space, with short, medium or long term occupancy arrangements, and associated services, to established innovation-led companies who are collaborating, or wish to collaborate, with UCD.

AgTechUCD Innovation Centre

The AgTechUCD Innovation Centre, based at UCD Lyons Farm in Co. Kildare, is specifically focused on supporting and accelerating early-stage start-ups and SMEs with disruptive technologies in the AgTech, agrifood and veterinary sectors.
