The HI community is delighted to announce that our Director, Professor Anne Fuchs, has been awarded the 2025 Royal Irish Academy Gold Medal in the Humanities. The second medal was awarded to Seamus Martin, Smurfit Professor of Medical Genetics at TCD. This call for papers is for the first symposium in a series of three which will be rolled out in 2025/26. The three symposia will result in peer-reviewed publications. The UCD Humanities Institute runs an annual residency programme aimed at international humanities academic scholars based outside Ireland and Northern Ireland.
