Supporting the objective of developing research graduates with the skills necessary to develop and manage their careers across a broad range of employment sectors including academia, UCD provides structured support for students consistent with the (opens in a new window)National Framework for Doctoral Education and the (opens in a new window)IUA Doctoral Skills Statement. This structured support incorporates research and generic skills development opportunities, empowering students to make a significant impact in their chosen career and contribute to Ireland’s social, cultural and economic development. This support will also aid students in the successful completion of their studies.
