UCD students – Apply now for the Universitas 21 Global Citizens Programme

UCD students are invited to apply now for the (opens in a new window)Universitas 21 (U21) Global Citizens Programme – a three-week online leadership course for students, taking place from Monday, 9 March to Friday, 27 March.

This programme helps students to build essential skills to thrive in the 21st century while tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges, based on the (opens in a new window)United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

Participants will learn about global issues, connect with students from universities worldwide, and develop leadership skills. Students will work in small groups on topics that are of interest to them. Upon successful completion, students will earn a U21/(opens in a new window)Common Purpose micro-credential and badge, as well as access to the Common Purpose alumni community.

Who can apply?

All UCD students – undergraduate, master’s, and PhDs – based on any of UCD’s campuses are eligible to apply.
