Learning Abroad Opportunities
Erasmus+, Exchanges, Traineeships, Overseas Volunteering and More!
If you're hoping to study or gain experience outside of Ireland, UCD offers students the opportunity to study at one of our partner universities, or do a traineeship in a business setting. These will allow you to spend anything from a month or trimester to a full academic year abroad and in some cases, earn credit that counts towards your UCD degree.
Opportunities are available through:
-
Exchange – Study at our partner institutions worldwide, usually with no additional tuition fees.
-
Erasmus+ – Study at European partner universities through the Erasmus+ programme.
- Erasmus+ BIPs - Blended Intensive Programmes are short-term international study opportunities within any of the EU member states or associated countries.
-
Erasmus+ Traineeships - Gain work experience abroad.
-
Outgoing Short-term Mobilities – Often a shorter version of a semester or year-long mobility programme. Usually lasting between 5 days-3 months and running in the summer, but there are programmes available throughout the year.
We also have opportunities you can explore below, through UCD Volunteers Overseas, Erasmus+ ICM, NICE, and Universitas 21.
