The School of Geography endeavours to provide a supportive and engaging environment within which students will develop their independence, curiosity and criticality. While most students will enjoy their time studying with us, there may be occasions when students will need additional support.
If your concerns relate to academic matters, your first port of call should be your tutor (if you are in first year) or the relevant module coordinator. Their name can be found on course materials and on the online module descriptor.

While the Geography corridor is undergoing renovations, to arrange a meeting, you should contact the module coordinator directly to arrange a time and medium that suits both of you.
The School of Geography wishes to draw your attention to the Acceptable Use Guidelines in the University Student Email Protocol.
E-mails that do not conform to this policy (i.e. are discourteous, aggressive etc.) will not receive a response and will be referred onwards for appropriate action. Some staff operate specific e-mail response hours, details of which can be found on your module syllabus.

You can also seek support from the (opens in a new window)Students Union Welfare Officer. The SU have a Welfare Office based in the Students Centre.
