Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)

What are data subject rights requests?
Under data protection legislation individuals, whose data is processed by an organisation, can exercise certain rights, and UCD is required to enable them to do so.

To request a copy of your own personal data held by UCD, you can make the appropriate data subject access request (DSAR) by contacting us at (opens in a new window)data.protection@ucd.ie. The UCD Data Subject Access Request Form can be used for your request.

UCD is required to verify the identity of a person making a data subject access request. What identification is required will vary case-by-case. UCD’s Data Subject Access Request Administrative Officer will inform you of what will be needed in your specific circumstances.
