So what exactly is involved?

Once signed up you will be asked to log in and complete the following stages over a three week period:
- Provide consent to take part in the project
- Demographics questionnaire
- x2 separate 24 hour dietary recalls
- Other health questionnaires
What is a 24 hour dietary recall?
A 24 hour dietary recall requires an individual to recall, from memory, all the food and drinks they have consumed in the previous 24 hours. During the Foodbook24 project, users will be asked to complete two of these recalls.
Do I complete all stages at once?
Once registered you will receive emails to let you know when to complete each stage. Users who complete all stages will receive free feedback on their diet (via email) based on the information they provide.
What kind of feedback will I receive?
We will give you feedback on different food groups such as fruit and vegetables and some key nutrients and compare these to current recommendations. ***PLEASE NOTE - The study has now finished and those who sign up from 25/10/2016 will NOT receive feedback***
Can anyone sign up?
Users can sign up if they are 18 years +, fluent in English and have regular access to the internet.
Please note: Foodbook24 works best on laptops or desktops using Google Chrome. Some mobile platforms are supported however we would suggest using desktop or laptop.
