(opens in a new window)Dr Dimitri Scholz directs the UCD Conway Imaging Core where the focus is on providing contemporary imaging technologies and know-how to researchers in the wider scientific community; both in academia and industry. The consolidated instrumentation suite spans all aspects of light and electron microscopy as well as sample preparation and image processing and analysis facilities. The Core team use their technical expertise to assist in the widest possible range of applications for microscopy, in advancing the development of new applications and indeed new imaging technologies.
