Public Consultation on the bioeconomy now open

The European Commission has opened a public consultation on the bioeconomy, titled 'Towards a Circular, Regenerative and Competitive Bioeconomy'.

This is an opportunity for all stakeholders, from members of the public, to primary producers, SMEs, trade unions, and NGOs to have your say.

It will remain open until 23 June 2025.

EnableBIO at Environ2025

The EnableBIO Team were delighted to attend Environ2025 (the 35th Irish Environmental Researchers Colloquium) in Dublin.

We were grateful for the opportunity to showcase our research on the policy and legislative landscape surrounding the utilisation of agri-food waste in Ireland and connect with other attendees on the next stages of our project. It was great to see so many other posters and presentations related to sustainability, innovation, and the future of the circular bioeconomy in Ireland.
