Optics In Ireland, August 2018
Tuesday, 31 July, 2018
Since 1916, the Optical Society of America has been the world’s leading champion for optics and photonics, uniting and educating scientists, engineers, educators, technicians and business leaders worldwide to foster and promote technical and professional development.
Through publications, events and services, the Optical Society is helping to advance the science of light by addressing the ongoing need for shared knowledge and innovation.
Now, for the first time in their history the Optical Society is doing a national issue and we can proudly say they've chosen Ireland to be their first, the August issue will feature the work of approximately 100 authors working in Ireland.
This issue contains papers by the UCD School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, the UCD School of Mechanical & Materials Engineering and the UCD School of Physics as well as other authors from all over the country.
The publication can be found here: (opens in a new window)https://www.osapublishing.org/ao/upcomingissue.cfm, look for Vol. 57, issue 22.
