Everyone had a great time yesterday running our RoboRugby 2025 competition. This event caps off the module EEEN10020 'Robotics Design Project'.

University College Dublin’s 2025 Innovation Awardees Announced by NovaUCD

Earlier this week during an event held in the UCD University Club, President, Prof. Orla Feely presented the 2025 NovaUCD Innovation Awards.

These annual Awards highlight successes made in areas of knowledge transfer, consultancy, entrepreneurship and the promotion of an innovation culture, by members of the UCD research, innovation and entrepreneurial communities.

Inventors of Moveable Oral Sensor with Clinical Applications Receive 2025 NovaUCD Invention of the Year Award

Dr Emer Doheny, UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Dr Jayne Carberry, UCD School of Medicine, have been named recipients of the 2025 NovaUCD Invention of the Year Award
They received the Award for a novel medical device, which they have developed and designed, that allows for the measurement and training of individual oropharyngeal muscles using a moveable oral sensor.
