Earth Institute coffee morning research talk with Dr Karen Smith, UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice on just transition for children. This talk focuses on a new study - a just and inclusive local transition for children. The study is funded under the New Foundations scheme and is being carried out with the support of TASC. The project will utilise participatory methods to explore children's views of their local environment in Crumlin in Dublin and what they'd like to see improved to benefit children now and in the future. This talk will discuss the motivations behind the study and its relationship to Karen's work on childhood inequality.
