Earth Institute journalist in residence scheme 2025 open for applications

We are delighted to announce our journalist-in-residence initiative is open for applications for 2025.  This innovative initiative connects journalists with environmental, climate and sustainability researchers to foster collaboration, improve communication of research, and support high-quality journalism in these fields.

Two residencies are available, open to staff or freelance journalists active in any media format: print, radio, television, blog, podcast etc.  The scheme provides funding of €2,500 or €3,500, depending on experience, desk space, and access to UCD resources, with flexibility to accommodate hybrid working arrangements.

Applications are due by Friday 10 January 2025 at 5pm (Irish Standard Time)
