People underappreciate plants which may have negative consequences to education and conservation efforts. Effective strategies promoting plant awareness require a better understanding of the multifaceted nature of human interactions with plants. We will discuss use of arts as a new lens for attracting diverse audiences and can promote self-reflection, evoke emotional responses and facilitate examination of personal relationship with plant world.
