This event will focus on an overview of degree subjects available through the College. You will get a short overview of the courses, their structure and the career opportunities they offer, before our panel of current students will talk about their experience and what it’s really like to study in the College of Engineering and Architecture at UCD.
Outreach Programmes for School Students

UCD’s College of Engineering and Architecture offers a series of different outreach programmes and seminars designed help school students gain a deeper understanding of Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or City Planning and Environmental Policy (depending on their area of interest). These programmes / seminars will help them gain a deeper understanding of the area they will be studying, how they will study, the opportunities and associated future careers.
STEPS EYF is an engineering experience programme that gives Transition Year students a hands-on, fun and practical insight into engineering at third level and as a career. During the programme, which is run over five days on UCD’s campus, students attend interactive talks and presentations; get hands-on experience with group-based activities; visit local industry and meet engineers at various stages in their careers.
EYF is run in conjunction with Engineers Ireland STEPS programme.

Unfortunately UCD has finished taking applications for EYF 2024.
We are inviting all students considering studying their bachelors of Engineering, Architecture, City Planning & Environmental Policy or Landscape Architecture at UCD to attend one of two webinars to meet our academics and the College Office staff.
This is an excellent opportunity to answer any questions you may have in relation to studying at UCD.

5th year school students are invited to join us on UCD’s campus for a half day event, where they will have the opportunity to experience college life, meeting lecturers, staff and students.
