Dog owner gut study

We will conduct a study to compare gut microbiota of dogs and humans from pairs from the same household, to assess influence of shared diet and lifestyle, and assess the influence of these on the development of healthy or unhealthy microbiome signals.

Our second project, currently in the funding stage, will investigate the effect of exercise on the gut microbiome of obese dogs, and the effect of the added exercise on the gut microbiome of their owners.
